Students graduate with the ability to service consumer electronics such as TV and home audio equipment.

Lab Equipment for Electronics Technology and Advanced Troubleshooting

Electronics Technology and Advanced Troubleshooting (course 11) contains 118 lessons with over 200 hands-on training experiments using CIE's Personal Training Laboratory and Multimeter.

You can take your exams online with our e-grade site. This program was created specifically for the distance learning student. Experience a step-by-step method of learning that allows you to master the fundamentals and then move on to more advanced topics!

Earn an Accredited Diploma

Students graduate with a Nationally Accredited Diploma in Electronics and are readily employable as electronics technicians.

They may continue their education with CIE and receive full academic and tuition credit that can be applied towards CIE's Associate Degree. In fact, this course contains 38 credit hours towards CIE's accredited Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology.

CET Exam Preparation

Advanced Troubleshooting and Electronics Technology course prepares for CET Exam.

Electronics Technology and Advanced Troubleshooting also includes a study guide on how to prepare for the Associate-Level Certified Electronics Technician (CET) exam.

This test is administered by the International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians and has over 46,000 certified technicians across the globe! Certification enables employers to separate knowledgeable job applicants from those with less training and skills.

CIE has an open enrollment policy and you can start this program at anytime. One of the advantages of enrolling with CIE is that you can study at your own pace. Some students go through the program slowly, others at an accelerated level, but on average most students complete about two lessons a week.
