World College’s instruction staff created a new Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems that will prepare students for high-tech careers in the Computer Information Systems and Network Security fields.
It will include the all the lessons found in CIE's Computer Technology Associate Degree plus four semesters covering Network Security, Computer Forensics, E-Business, Firewalls, Disaster Recovery and JAVA programming.
The immediate need for organizations to protect critical information continues to increase.
The U.S Department of Labor expects employment to grow in this field due in part to the increasing reliance of businesses on computer information technology and the continuing importance of maintaining system and network security.
